Well, what can I say, if you prayed for perfect conditions, today was it. The ocean was extreme flat, and the fish were biting, what more could you have asked for!

Our meeting point for the trip was, of course, was at the Miami Bakery in Falcon. Once all the fellow fishers were there, we made our way for Whitehills. Stopping at the top for a quick air down, before proceeding onto the beach.

We found this perfect spot quite a while back, has a bit of reef and a nice gutter, just meters from shore. Shane had it saved on his off road maps, so with Shane in front, we led us to our spot.

Very quickly, the fish were coming onto the bite, with a few double headers and with even more falling off our hooks, we managed to get a really good feed, pic below is just some of our fish we had caught.

Speaking of a good feed of fish, we had a great feed ourselves. 1kilo pack of bacon on the bbq, some eggs, onions and some fresh bread from the bakery, yum yum yum.

With such perfect weather conditions, the ocean being sooooooo flat, and with fresh berley in the water, the next best thing we could do, was to go for a swim.

Not wanting to get out, it was time to pack up and head for home. It was so great to be out here on a blessed day, a big thanks to all those that came.
