We all met at Guilderton near the lighthouse and admired the view while chatting. It was meant to
be 10:00 for 10:30 start, but we were all there by 10:15 (well done ). So we aired down and after
the introductions & preamble stuff we headed off around 10:30.

Due to the recent rains the sand was nowhere near as soft as it had been on previous runs. That was
one of the main reasons I wanted to run the trip in June. Having said that it was still bumpy and
challenging in parts.

As always, the views were stunning, and we even managed to see a few locals.

On previous trips, the run to Seabird took about 90 minutes, on this occasion it was around 60
minutes.

After we had a break for lunch at the Tavern, those who needed to leave aired up and bid us
farewell.

The rest of us got back in our cars and started the drive back. It is interesting how different the
same track can be in reverse.

Again some interesting (and sort of) challenging stuff on the way back.

We arrived back in Guilderton, aired up and reflected on the day. It was meant to be wet, cold and
dreary, but ended up being a beautiful WA winters day.

Thanks to all who attended for a relaxed day of exploring, and big thanks to:
Simon and Di for being tail end Charlie, and Di and Lin for the fantastic photos.
