We met at the parking bay on Perry Road Pinjar at 9am and aired down to 15psi straight off as we knew the sand was going to be soft.

We headed east intending to visit the hikers hut called Moitch Hut but unfortunately the gate was closed so we continued on to the S bend.

After a couple of goes at trying to get up the hill we all gave in and took the chicken track and enjoyed the view from the top of the hill.

Heading down S bend is so much easier due to the forces of nature.

Now heading west, we encountered another soft sandy track which took us back to Perry Road Where we turned right along Water Road. This part of the trip was a bit easier as the surface was now limestone.

Another of the club favourites was up next. High Hill where we spent about an hour trying out the different tracks up the hill.

We stopped at the top of High Hill for a bite to eat and a shot of caffeine. Another stunning view from up there.

We now found ourselves winding through the pine plantation in search of the next hut which is called Rydges Hut. On arrival there was another spectacular view towards the hills.

The last section of track before we found the hut was a bit narrower and we ended up with a few more memory marks to remind us of the trip.

After airing up and another coffee and chat we headed home to inspect the memory marks. I hope all had a good as I certainly did. Cheers to all who came and conquered.
