Avon Historic Run, March 2025

Attending; Rob – Toyota Tractor (TL), Colin – Prado – (TEC)

Only 2 of us braved the heat today, but it didn’t stop us from having a great day trip. Setting off through the beautiful Moondyne bush tracks then on to Toodyay where we viewed some history in the museum.

Then some great back roads winding through the wheatbelt. We went past some historic sites that were unfortunately closed.

Traversed some farm tracks to look at some old machinery and ruined homesteads on private land ( with permission). Then we relaxed a while by the picturesque lake before heading home.

I’m hoping to run a similar trip again, when the weather is cooler and the land is nice and green.
