What a day!
A last minute trip to the usual beach fishing spot Whitehills. The last few trips here hasn’t produced any fish, which is very unusual for this spot.
The one thing that I really noticed compared to all our other trips out here, was the beach erosion. The recent bad weather/storms has really washed the beach away. For the first time, we had to travel behind the dunes to reach our beach spot.
The 3 of us plus Sean’s best mate Luke
We set up our rods and fished away.
I think this was the first trip here where no one had a bite. Just CRRAZZZZYYYY!!!
Still a great day out. Perfect weather, and a Weber on the beach. You cant ask for more.
Late breaky/early lunch was a little different this time. Cooked snags, bacon, fried onions. All cut into small chunks. The bread rolls were hollowed out and then stuffed full with all this yummy goodness. To finish this off. The rolls were then toasted on the webber. Drrrrrooooooooolll.
Overall we had a great day, great feed but sadly no fish to eat or as a positive, no fish to clean.
