Venue

Hillary’s boat harbour provided a beautiful, sheltered green park amongst the sand dunes.  On the other side of the hill, it was blowing a gale and busy with people. Great choice Richard.

We shared food – lots of yummy food and we all carefully watched our weight – as it climbed upwards!

We talked and had a good time reflecting on a year of challenges. And plans for Christmas holidays.

Penny shared how close the fire had come to their home in Karridale, along Caves Road. The house is surrounded by pink fire retardant and the front driveway and bush have been cleared to control the fire. You may have seen it on the evening news. Their driveway may be a new four wheel drive track?

The chill really set in about 7pm and the club jackets came out. Most of us packed up about then, heading for home wishing everyone a “Merry Christmas” and see you Tuesday next week (21 December for the last meeting of the year).
